LOTTO Thüringen Indoor Skiing Centre in Oberhof

Discover Germany’s first skiing centre for Nordic winter sports. Best snow conditions all the year round - the LOTTO Thüringen Indoor Skiing Centre in Oberhof offers almost two kilometres of cross-country trails in both summer and winter. With several challenging climbs and bends, the runs are anything but dull and represent a unique attraction in Oberhof. Everyone can enjoy winter sports here at a constant temperature of 4° Celsius.  The Biathlon Hall provides facilities for practice with small-bore and air rifles. There are separate training times for leisure and competitive sportsmen and -women.

Visitors can choose between a time account and a day ticket. If the time account is chosen, the time spent on the run is registered in minutes during every visit and deducted from the time account. Day tickets entitle holders to use the runs during opening hours on the selected day as often and for as long as they like.

There is a sports shop offering hire of skiing equipment, skiing courses, various biathlon courses, programmes for groups and the Pizzeria Iglu. Anyone wanting just to view the Centre can use the visitors' gallery.

Parking space outside the Ski Centre (2.50x4.60 m). Guests with limited mobility can move around the Ski Centre very well, whether as visitors or users. 3 WCs - one in the entrance area (validity of pictogram), one in access area to the skiing facility (please note: accessibility from left = 63 cm) and one together with a floor-level shower in the changing room area (please note: accessibility from left = 70 cm, depth = 65 cm, room for movement in the shower = 115x105 cm). Access to skiing facility through entry barrier, width = 60 cm. Alternative access = 90 cm accompanied by staff.

Guide dogs welcome in the café. Paralympic teams regularly train for their competitions at the Ski Centre. Staff are accustomed to guests with disabilities and pleased to help.
