Echter Nordhäuser Traditional Distillery
Free admissionIn September 1996 the former corn schnapps distillery Seidel, founded in 1857, was restored according to national heritage requirements, and was opened as a museum of the corn distilling trade. Part of the exhibition are a producing distillery and objects of the history of the Nordhausen corn distillery. Highlight of each tour is the opportunity to have a taste of our spirits, and purchase them as a souvenir.
