School of Arts and Crafts

Today’s Faculty of Design building was also designed by Henry van de Velde and later used by the Bauhaus. It surprises with its unusual lighting of the staircase, in which there are also three reconstructed wall paintings by Oskar Schlemmer. It was reopened after renovation in August 2009.
