Greiz Park

Greiz Park: Last restructuring after 1873 following plans by Eduard Petzold, approx. 60 hectares, with pond and dendrological and architectural specialities. The summer palace houses the National Collection of Books and Copperplate Engravings Greiz, a donation of the older line of the Reuss dynasty. In the "SATIRICUM" numerous caricatures of the 17th to 19th century, as well as the biggest collection of caricatures related to the GDR are on show. The entire complex is property of the foundation Thuringian Palaces and Gardens in Rudolstadt.
